Router the chines
So, this had me puzzled. I made a jig to router the chines, but the challenge is to make sure it's the right depth. Therefore, I thought I'd attach a guide to the outside of the chine but as I move forward the chine will be too wide and prevent the router from touching the guide. There is also a slight bend in the chine I'll have to match. It started out easy near the transom but gained significant difficulty as I moved forward. Here's some pics of my jigs. Once that was done, I cut the chines flush with the transom.
