Frame work resuming
Frames are numbered from bow to stern. Frames completed are 4, 5, 6, 6a, 7, 7a and the transom. Frames to go before the keel will be done are 2a, 3, 3a, 4a, and 5a. Frame 3 is the latest frame that I've cut out, fit and it's ready for coating with CEPS, gluing then installed. I didn't replace the vertical part of frame 3 since its in pretty good shape. I'll have to glue doweling in the old screw holes and clean up the pieces. Frame 3: Frame 6a: Frame 4: I also discovered a broken frame. Don't know why I never saw it before. It's frame number 2. Here's a couple of photos of it currently. Unsure whether I'll do this frame before the keel yet. We'll see how it goes. Someone installed a sister board to strengthen it at some point in past.
