The transom and related pieces
Continuing progress on the transom and related pieces. I glued up the transom, cut a scarf on the stringers, epoxied the new pieces, and now fitting the other related pieces. Photos follow: This was after gluing and notice the bolts for the lift ring in the middle support. This had to be done soon since it will not be accessible after the transom boards are installed. Here I rigged up a guide to cut the scarfs: Then the cut was made: And then both were done: And new pieces fit: Then other related pieces are in the works: A few modifications are yet to be made to improve the fit of all these pieces.
